Linking to
Itstheweekend.org isn't a free for all. Our audience is based
on those that actively seek weekend activities. We will consider
exchanging links with sites that may add value to ours. Propositions
should be sent via email, details are on the contact
page.
We
welcome submissions particularly from charitable organisations,
not for profit businesses and non-commercial tourist attractions
such as local museums, art galleries, visitor centres, private collections,
events and activities for enthusiasts.
The
site is constantly updated and new fresh content added. If you have
a tourist attraction or public activity that you feel should be
published in 'itstheweekend.org' please feel free to contact
us.
Our
focus is on events and attractions such as fairs, shows, exhibitions,
parades, galas, re-enactments, activities, open days, historic and
local events. Such village events are generally pageants, festivals,
fun races, battle re-enactments, parades, shows and rallies. We
don't support school fetes because they are too local and don't
fit in with our general ethos.
Commercial
activities such as tourist attractions may be submitted for publishing,
but informative text will be favoured and subject to editing. Advertising
campaigns with banner links provide revenue for the maintenence
of this site, please contact us
for quotes.
Press
releases and news bulletins are welcome, equally invitations to
venues and attractions may be sent, these may be used by our 'weekender
family' or offered as a prize to a quiz or competition.
Equally
if you are aware of a local activity that would be of interest to
our visitors, please let us know. Often small British villages hold
historic events unique to their locality and not only are of interest
to our weekenders but an article here may provide economic support.
