Holiday Homes is a family-run business offering quality
self-catering holiday accommodation based in Marazion, Cornwall.
The town is one of the oldest in Britain and is home to the
legendary St Michael's Mount, a historic island castle in
the sea, now run by the National Trust. Located in the prime
Mount's Bay location, Marazion is close to Penzance, Newlyn,
Mousehole and St Ives and within easy travelling distance
of Lands End and the famous Eden Project.
Looe
is a traditional Cornish fishing port with its breathtaking
views and sandy beach. It has attracted visitors from far
and wide for many generations. It is a bustling working fishing
port where you can watch our fisherman sort their catch, or
even try a spot of fishing yourselves. There are many things
to do including crabbing, sailing, windsurfing, not to mention
walking along our breathtaking coastline to many neighbouring
coastal towns and villages. Why not try a speed boat ride,
coastal cruise or even an organised fishing trip? St. George’s
Island is a magical place just off of Hannafore in Looe where
beautiful birds flock and if you are lucky you may see some
seals taking in the sun on the rocks surrounding it.
Polperro
is a 5 minute drive from Looe and yet offers a feel of tranquility
and quaintness, yet at the same time oozes charm and character
with its own working fishing harbour, many pubs, restaurants
and gift shops. It’s easy to take in both Looe and Polperro
as you can walk the coastal path from one to the other; for
the not so avid walker, you may wish to take a boat trip for
the return journey! Either way, our beautiful coastal scenery
must be explored and admired.
Hentervene
is a small family park, 8 acres, set in a sheltered valley
2 miles from the safe, sandy beach of Crackington Haven. The
park has shady trees and hedges, full of flowers in Spring,
many varieties of birds. Rabbits, squirrels and foxes are
about, and occasionally deer. Lots of activities nearby —
surfing, tennis, horse riding, golf, fishing and boat trips,
the spectacular South West Coastal Path for walkers. Children
and pets warmly welcomed.
Toms
Holidays is the only place to go for your Cornish
holiday. Whatever your self catering requirements Toms Holidays

holiday chalets and bungalows available to book from April
to October and over the Christmas period.
Hayle
stands on the opposite side of St Ives Bay, famous for its
three miles of golden sandy beaches. Our location is probably
one of the best for any holiday in Cornwall, set amongst 40
acres of sea front dunes overlooking the golden sands and
breaking surf at Riviere Towans. The resort has many large
open spaces with ready access to the sand dunes and there
are safe play areas for the young or young at heart to get
involved in
Forget
Me Not Farm Holidays. The three cottages, situated
on Trefranck Farm are on the edge of Bodmin Moor and just
6 miles from the North Cornish Coast. The Old Wagon House
is ideal for the disabled.
The farm
has been farmed and owned by the same family since 1703 and
this year on the 5th March we celebrated 300 years of farming.
Records show the settlement of Trefranck was first recorded
in 1276. The farm, 340 acres, is a mixed farm, with beef and
sheep being the main enterprises. In addition we have many
other animals; ponies, 2 goats, dogs, cats, and chicken, that
lay lovely fresh eggs, and of course many rabbits. Our daughter
also has a small flock of rare breed Balwen Sheep, with their
unique markings.
Wild
life around the farm is abundant with rabbits, foxes, deer,
badgers, bats, owls and buzzards. Within the farm we have
two wild life ponds, also playing host to a wide variety of
wild life. Guest are welcome to go on a Land Rover trip around
he farm to see the animals and stand under the wind turbines,
or go on a night time star watch and maybe see foxes, rabbits,
badgers or the barn owls hunting for food.
